"I would love to bring a BPI team here, so it is clear for me that it was transformative experience from the very beginning, because it gives us practical ideas for our day-to-day work and for what we have to do and plan in the future". Ana Vasconcelos, BPI "What a remarkable day! I can take from this experience many lessons and ideas to implement within my organisation at the level of skills development."
"The most important thing I’ll take with me is sharing experiences, networking and meeting new people. I’ll also take new ideas, not only to do this with some teams of my company, but to share this experience with them all".
"It was a great day. Most of the people didn't know each other in the beginning and now I believe we are here as friends. It was a fabulous experience that should be shared with other companies and people."
It was a terrific journey in Azores on the gracious ship with very experienced and hospitable team who did their best to keep us safe, entertained and engaged in their work with sales. It was as well a great pleasure to have our morning yoga classes on the deck.
The trip at SMM was fantastic! It exceeded everyone's expectations and in particular mine. The crew was very professional, the service was good. The work done on the ship by my team was very important for us to work many skills, in particular: humility to learn; coordination; help, communication, resilience and respect for command (authority, hierarchy and discipline).
The trip was absolutely incredible. I am extremely impressed with the ship and the crew. I felt very at home on board and the crew was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like I learned so much about the ship and navigation and I know many of the other passengers feel the same. I truly enjoyed the trip and hope that I will go aboard again.
The Islands was beautiful and rather unexpected. This is a terrifically well run vessel. Excellent accommodation, well serviced by a professional crew. All very friendly, helpful and willing to give information throughout.
It was obvious that the crew was very capable of doing everything without the help of the passengers, but I loved that they wanted us to be involved and gave us tasks that we could do. It is also evident how important safety on board is and I was impressed to see all of the crew members in harnesses and helmets whenever they were in slightly precarious positions preparing a sail to be raised or fixing something.
The trip between Lisbon and Funchal was really exceptional thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the crew that was always available to answer all our requests. A trip far too short. It was my first cruise aboard Santa Maria Manuela but it will certainly not be the last.
I can't imagine the Santa Maria Manuela having a bigger fan than me. It was a remarkable experience and I really enjoyed getting to know the crew as well as all of the passengers. It was a great group of people to spend 6 days with.
This was a special day in Lisbon. Hundreds of people gathered on the docks of Rocha do Conde de Óbidos, in Alcântara, to witness the launch of two ships that had just been built: Santa Maria Manuela and Creoula.
