This voyage blends tradition, sail training, and environmental awareness — with cod as the historic link between Portugal and Norway.
Sailing through majestic fjords and the open sea, Santa Maria Manuela once again shows the strength and soul of Portuguese maritime heritage.

I won't forget the long-suffering patient crew member who taught me to tie a double bowline. It took ages but I finally got it, and was able to teach another passenger.
