Voyage description

This voyage takes us from the bustling and rugged island of Tenerife, to lush La Gomera and on to La Palma known as “La Isla Bonita", before we return to Tenerife.

Join us on this sailing voyage from the vibrant island of Tenerife to the lush landscapes of La Gomera, and onward to the enchanting La Palma, famously known as "La Isla Bonita", before returning to Tenerife.

Our initial days will be spent at sea, learning the ropes of the Santa Maria Manuela, and embracing the rhythm of the ocean. Dive into the sailing experience, from helming to trimming sails, navigating and exploring aloft. And when you are not absorbed in sailing, indulge in reading, board games or sharing sailing stories over drinks at the bar. We anchor off the picturesque shores of La Gomera and venture into its palm-filled valleys, deep ravines, black sand beaches, crystal-clear waters and magical forests, earning its reputation as Canary Island’s hidden gem.

Prepare for magic as we set course for the captivating World Biosphere Reserve and Starlight Reserve of La Palma, just a brief journey from the northernmost Island. La Palma beckons with its vast scenic vistas. Aptly named "La Isla Bonita" (the Pretty Island), its rugged, breathtaking, and awe-inspiring landscapes never fail to astound. Legend has it that this island has a unique ability to rejuvenate and invigorate.

La Palma stands as one of Europe’s renowned 'Dark Sky' reserves, offering us a unique chance to explore the observatory and learn about the project's significance from resident astrophysicists.

As our journey nears its end, we chart our course back to Santa Cruz, Tenerife, where a celebratory deck BBQ awaits on our penultimate day, marking a fitting end before disembarking the following morning.
