Voyage description

Join us for a memorable journey aboard the Santa Maria Manuela as we set sail from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, bound for the vibrant port of Arrecife in Lanzarote. Our voyage will take advantage of the Canary Islands’ mild December climate, sailing through its crystal-clear waters, offering breathtaking views and a chance to connect with the sea.

Arrecife in Lanzarote is a coastal city with a soul shaped by the sea. Lanzarote's maritime culture is rich and diverse, encompassing fishermen, sailors, artists, and surfers, all of whom share a deep connection with the ocean. The city's history is also linked to the sea, with the local hero Gregorio Fuentes, said to have inspired Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea," hailing from Arrecife.

As we leave Lanzarote, we'll set our course towards Fuerteventura's Rosario, where the island's beaches and quaint villages await. You will find the contrast between the rugged coastline, its golden beaches and the clear turquoise waters unforgettable.

Throughout the voyage, our captain will chart the course that promises the most enjoyable experience, considering the weather and sea conditions. You'll be invited to participate in sailing activities, learning the ropes from our experienced crew, or you can choose to unwind and soak in the panoramic vistas.

Next, we'll hoist the sails for our return voyage back to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands. Tenerife boasts a variety of landscapes, from the lunar-like terrain of Teide National Park – Spain’s highest peak – to the verdant Anaga Mountains. Tenerife is both a visual spectacle and a cultural haven. The island's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is home to the Parque Marítimo César Manrique, a harmonious blend of art and nature, offering stunning views of the sea and the iconic Auditorium designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.

Join us on this magnificent sailing trip: it is not just a journey between islands; it's an invitation to discover the soul of the sea and the hidden treasures of the Canary Islands.
